This is the video of a 1980 Sears Kitchenfan that was made by Emerson. Blades, Motor housing, switch housing and canopy are plastic but the fan utilizes a K55 motor with a 2speed pullchain. Demoed here with a Lutron Caseta 4 speed control. Fasco Worlds Fair Ceiling Fan Model 948 in Brown/Antique Brass and Pecan Blades. This fan is from 1982 and have the Vari-Low Speed System which is similar to the Casablanca Slumber Quiet system with a lower failure rate. This is one of the earlier fans that has the J-Hook Mount with a Slide Up Canopy. It is not installed in this video as I used a shorter one from one of the later Worlds Fairs with the standard ball socket mount. This fan also has a reproduction flywheel from another collector that works super well and is balanced and quiet. Evergo E8 'Banana Fan' 52" in Brass / Black. This is one of the earlier non-reversible models with a similar motor design to Hunter Originals. This uses a dual pull chain variable speed control built into the fan which is neat as you pull it one way to slow the fan and the other to speed it up and click it Off. This one has the unique blades usually seen on Leslie Lock models that have been dubbed 'baseball bat esqe'. Even though this fan has a slower RPM on High, it still has a lot of power and can push a lot of air. Was also given the box when I got this fan from another collector and some parts still have the original plastic coating to protect the finish on them. This is the video of the installs / speed controls for the 18 Emerson Heat Fans that I helped uninstall from the Gilbertsville Fire Hall that is about to be demolished. There are 9 in the original hall, 5 in the kitchen area, and 4 in the back Pool hall room. They were all on variable speed controls. Only 2 fans were not able to be verified as working due to issues with wiring and bad switches. Gilbertville Fire Co. Fire Hall Emerson Heat Fan Installation
Emerson Heat Fan HF1152W. Also known as the "Stratojet".This fan was painted black and I spent a lot of time trying to get the paint off. This is the best I could get. It did not come with a downrod or canopy. Bearings were pretty shot and had to be replaced otherwise it runs well. This was the replacement for the HF352 Heat Fan or Blenderfan. It still has the flywheel hub under the blades which screw directly into that. It's a very interesting design which allowed for greater airflow with the molded blades. 1989 Casablanca Zephyr (5 Blade) in Snow White. Purchased this fan off of Facebook marketplace in New Jersey. Runs super well and is in great shape. Was fully complete with the Intelitouch W-11 control. Exact one I had wanted and just needs a schoolhouse light kit to have that classic look.
